Avoiding Burnout

Construction training is repetitive and click-intensive. Break sessions into 1–2 hour blocks with breaks in between. Music or videos help maintain focus during long grinds.

Optimal Session Length

Most players find 2-hour sessions optimal — long enough to make meaningful progress without fatigue. After 2 hours, XP rates typically drop 10–15% due to concentration loss.

Speed vs Budget Time Comparison

Mahogany Tables take 14 hours but cost ~155M GP. Oak Larders take 72 hours but cost ~65M GP. That's 58 extra hours to save 90M GP — effectively earning ~1.55M GP/hour by choosing the budget option.

Speed vs Cost Trade-off

Training Hours vs GP Cost — All Methods

Faster methods cost exponentially more GP. The sweet spot depends on your budget and time availability.

Construction Training Schedule Guide

Levels 1–33: Use Crude Chairs or Mahogany Homes

This takes only 4–15 minutes regardless of method. Don't overthink early levels — any method works fine.

Levels 33–52: Oak Larders or MH Novice

Oak Larders at 180K XP/hr take ~41 minutes. Mahogany Homes Novice is cheaper but slower at ~50K XP/hr.

Levels 52–74: Mahogany Tables or MH Adept

Switch to Mahogany Tables if budget allows (1h 13m). Otherwise, MH Adept contracts offer solid XP at lower cost (3h 55m).

Levels 74–99: Your Choice of Speed or Budget

This is where the big decision happens. Oak Dungeon Doors (200K XP/hr) take ~52h. Mahogany Tables (900K XP/hr) take ~10h. Gnome Benches (950K XP/hr) take ~10h. MH Expert (280K XP/hr) takes ~33h.
