Max POH at level 83 (boostable from 75) is the best value goal. For ~13M GP and ~25 hours of training, you unlock every essential POH feature. The diminishing returns after level 83 are significant.
If GP is limited, target level 72 for Portal Nexus first. At ~9M GP, it provides massive travel utility. Then save for level 82-83 when you have more resources.
Using Mahogany Tables, you can reach level 82 in under 8 hours from level 1. The GP cost is ~34M but the time savings are dramatic for players who value speed.
Ironmen should target level 75 with Mahogany Homes, then boost to 83. This minimizes GP spent (ironman GP is harder to earn) while unlocking all critical POH features.

When set to Auto, the calculator picks the best method based on your budget. Budget over 100M? Mahogany Tables. Between 30-100M? Oak Dungeon Doors. Under 30M? Mahogany Homes Expert. Ironman? Always Mahogany Homes.
480 XP each, 8 Oak Planks per build, ~180K XP/hour with Demon Butler. The go-to method for most players from level 33 to 99. Moderate cost with reasonable speed.
840 XP each, 6 Mahogany Planks per build, ~900K XP/hour with Demon Butler. The fastest method by far. Costs ~14.1 GP/XP but saves dozens of hours. Best for players with GP to spare.
2,048 XP per contract, ~3.2 GP/XP, ~280K XP/hour. The cheapest method but slower. Requires walking between houses and fixing furniture. Best for ironmen and budget-conscious players.
600 XP each at 10 Oak Planks per build, ~5.9 GP/XP. Available from level 74. Offers the best traditional GP/XP ratio for POH training. Slightly faster than Oak Larders.
Use Mahogany Homes Expert contracts to maximize GP efficiency. Target level 72 (Portal Nexus) as your primary goal. You'll earn Carpenter Points for the XP-boosting outfit along the way.
Oak Larders to level 83 (or 75 with boost). This unlocks the full Max POH with approximately 24M GP investment. The most common budget range for mainstream players.
Mix Mahogany Tables for speed with Mahogany Homes for efficiency. Train to 99 using Mahogany Tables from level 77 onward for maximum speed in the late levels.
Mahogany Tables from level 52 to 99. Fastest path at ~14 hours total. Pure speed, pure prestige. The Construction Cape's unlimited POH teleport is your reward.
Matches your selected goal to a specific target level and POH configuration. Each goal (Max POH, Bossing House, etc.) maps to the minimum Construction level needed for its features.
When set to Auto, the calculator evaluates your budget and account type to recommend the optimal training method. High budget → fast methods. Low budget → efficient methods. Ironman → always Mahogany Homes.
With boosts enabled, the actual training target reduces by up to 8 levels. The calculator shows the reduced target and adjusted XP/GP/time requirements.
