Pest Control offers two types of rewards: Void Knight equipment and combat XP. Choose your goal before starting to plan efficiently.
The minimum Void set requires a Top (250), Robe (250), Gloves (150), and one Helm (200) — totaling 850 points. Most players start with the Ranged Helm for Vorkath and other bosses.
Adding all three helmets (Melee, Ranged, Mage) costs 1,250 points total. This provides maximum versatility for all combat styles.
Elite Void requires the Western Provinces Hard Diary and 200 points per piece (Top + Robe = 400 points). It adds a +2.5% damage bonus and a Prayer bonus.
Points can be spent on combat XP instead of equipment. The XP scales with your combat level — higher levels receive more XP per point.
Prayer XP is also available through Pest Control points. While less efficient than typical Prayer training methods, it's free and doesn't require bones or altars.
Many players plan for full Void + Elite Void upgrade = 1,650+ points. Use this calculator to see exactly how many games that requires.
