Flatpacks are tradeable versions of furniture built at the Workshop workbench. They give the same XP as building in your POH but produce a bankable item instead.
Generally no. Flatpack sell prices on the GE are far below material costs. The only reason to build flatpacks is for convenience (banking items) rather than profit.
Build flatpacks if you need portable XP training without a POH setup, or if specific flatpacks are needed for other content (some quests or activities accept flatpacks).
Building in your POH is always more cost-effective for XP because you don't create a sellable item — but you also don't lose GP on a worthless flatpack. The XP rate is identical either way.
480 XP per build, 8 oak planks. ~180K XP/hr. The standard budget training item from 33 onwards. Best GP/XP ratio for traditional POH training at ~9.8 GP/XP.
840 XP per build, 6 mahogany planks. ~900K XP/hr with Demon Butler. The fastest standard method. Costs ~14.1 GP/XP — expensive but incredibly fast.
600 XP per build, 10 oak planks. Good mid-range option with oak-tier costs. Slightly better XP/hr than oak larders due to higher XP per build.
840 XP per build, mahogany planks. Up to 950K XP/hr with optimal setup. Slightly faster than Mahogany Tables but requires higher level access.
After Dragon Slayer II. 370 XP per build with teak planks. ~580K XP/hr. Good middle ground between cost and speed.
